Titilope Fasipe, M.D., Ph.D., is a pediatric hematologist who specializes in caring for children and adolescents with sickle cell disease and other blood disorders. She also has lived experience with sickle cell disease.
She serves as co-director of the Sickle Cell & Thalassemia Program at Texas Children’s Hospital and is an associate professor of pediatrics at Baylor College of Medicine.
Dr. Fasipe also holds leadership roles that extend beyond clinical care. She chairs the American Society of Hematology Research Collaborative’s SCD National Community Advisory Board. She is the founding chair of the Houston Sickle Cell Collaborative and chairs the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute Sickle Cell Disease Advisory Committee. Dr. Fasipe’s work includes patient care, research, community collaboration, and efforts to improve outcomes for people affected by SCD.
