Oladipo Cole, M.D., MBA, is an adult hematologist and clinician-researcher focused on improving care for adults with sickle cell disease.
He is an assistant professor of medicine at UConn Health, associate director of the New England Sickle Cell Institute, and associate director of the Connecticut Bleeding Disorders Center.
Dr. Cole’s work includes research into disparities that affect people living with SCD, as well as the development and use of treatments that may change the course of the disease. His expertise brings an adult care perspective to topics ranging from long-term disease management to newer potentially curative treatment options.
